And The Time Has Come...

Hi guys out there!

It was a long time since we first published our intro. It was the time when we set our goals for the dreams. I still remember that we thought of a dream to be a zoo-keeper. We had asked for the volunteers, and the plan was suddenly disappeared as we moved on. Sorry for that. I do think that we dream of everything that we could think of. We sat on the comfy sofa together, between Maghrib and Isya’ . We had a lot of good time that I felt I would faint of excessive euphoria. One of the ideas at that time was to make one of the most unfortunate people that we know achieve his or her dream. We thought of finding the poorest friend, the beggar at the night market, the OKU in front of Mydin Mart and everything. It was soooo ridiculous but we enjoy the most of it. Finally, we got to set our heart on. We got four dreams to be achieved and they were not that easy.

Each of our adventure taught us of valuable lessons. First, don’t be selfish and think about others too. Actually, during the trip to Times Square, I had only a penny in my pocket. I felt like dying as I will have to spend a lot for the trip. As I think that this is the grouping task, I tried hard to gain some money. Thanks ALLAH for always helping me in every way I need it. ALHAMDULILLAH.

Secondly, I learned that dreaming is actually good. It gives me excessive endorphin hormones where I would smile 24/7. Do you know what I think? Dreaming is not bad at all. Trust me. Lastly, I learned that I have to be motivated and determined  all the way as if I am not the one, who else will? I learn not to depend on others and try my very very very best in completing my parts. Independence is the most important thing in life. The best team-work is you yourself.

And also, every story would meet the end. So do us. This is the last post for this very blog. I hope that everyone reading our entries would end up leaving this page with smiles and high determination in life. If you are finding the way to make your life different, dream the ways others won’t. Try to lift up the boundaries that you put to yourself. Dream of something new. Dream of something ridiculous and nonsense. Make a list of your dreams and set your target. Don’t be afraid of challenges. Just dream it the way you love it. Your life would not be the same. Believe it.

A DREAM IS A CONCRETE REASON TO LIVE……..

Of Love And Crushes - Final

As we promised you before, here is the confession;

Oh please don’t laugh! We took the guts off us to make this done! Confessing to someone that you like is hard! It’s like… like lying on the railway? Okay, that is exaggerating. Having the real experience confessing to my crush before, I can tell that rejection is undeniably devastating. But somehow we have to move on. Wow it’s like breaking up. I’m getting deeper and deeper here.
So that’s our confession. We dare you to do the same. Would ya?

XOXO,
Zaty.

Of Love And Crushes

BLAME the manga!

Because most of those comics containing scene where girls confessing to the guys that they admire!
Sooooo, there is one day when the three of us sit together and started to talk about our past, future and surely (!) about our future husband. Haha.

In order to fulfill our dreams, we need a perfect husband and before that happen, we’re going to confess to our own dream guy.

So, this entry is inspired by those manga scene where the heroin confess to the guy they like. BUT, we’re not to confess the real guy that we admire. Just the guys that slightly close to the characteristics of our dream guy. Haha, the guys that never know our existence, don’t care if you say we’re obsessed fans, just wanna have fun and dare ourselves to tell the world that we love them! Hee.

Let’s start with the guy that TUTI admires. He’s the dude that acted in Thailand film entitled Crazy First Love, with the mixed blood of Germany and Thailand, therefore making him more gorgeous than the rest. Can never forget about his dazzling smile that can drive people insane! It’s Mario Maurier.

An architect that succeeds in designing buildings all around New York. Because of his charismatic and charming personality, Ted Mosby managed to steal Musfirah’s heart and causing butterflies to fly happily in her tummy. This guy is the leading character in How I Met Your Mother and Musfirah could be one of the candidates of the mother.

Never judge a book by its cover because even though Seth Clearwater may look like a baby, he is one of the werewolf that help the Cullens a lot. Amanie can never get her eyes off the TV when she first watched him in Breaking Dawn: Part 1. His eyes were hypnotizing that causes her to go head over heels towards this cute little wolf.

How do we confess? Ahem, wait for it!

XOXO,
Meny.

Dinner's Ready! - Final

So here’s the recipe I wanna share with you guys. But I barely remember the ingredients. Ya, still a bad cook. Anyway, here are the ingredients:

  • ·         Well of course the chicken. Cuz this is chicken chop we’re making, baby!

  • ·         White pepper

  • ·         Black pepper

  • ·         Chicken stock

  • ·         Corn flour

  • ·         Err flour again but another different kind of flour (?)

  • ·         Oil

  • ·         Chilli sauce

  • ·         Ketchup

  • ·         Okay, I’m out of my mind recalling these!

So let’s get back to the serious business. Although we’re like discussing some serious things here. Ya, whatever. So first thing first is we marinade the chicken with some black pepper, white pepper, salt and the flour I got confused up there.

And then we prepare the sauce! Oil, water of course, white pepper, black pepper, corn flour mixed with hot water, chicken stock also mixed with hot water, salt, chilli sauce and ketchup. I can’t recall the sequence, I’m sorry! Need to practice more I guess. And then we grill the chicken!

But here’s a tip I wanna share that I got from my father. Ya, he’s a great helping hand. And the tip is when the chicken is halfway cooked, pour the sauce onto it. Oh my you can feel the sauce when you are eating it. I’m not lying over here.

So even though I still suck at cooking, at least I got the chance to cook by myself! Before this, I was like forbidding myself to enter the kitchen. Precaution step, mind you, cus I’m sure we’re not gonna afford paying whatever the accident in the kitchen might cost.

I hope that you’ll find this recipe useful. Suddenly, I feel ravenous. Hmm…

XOXO,
Zaty.

Dinner's Ready!

I love eating. I love food. But do I love cooking? Not in a million years, baby.

When I was in primary school, the most cliché and common question prompted by the teachers is what would you do if you have a million dollar? And my answer would be to have a bakery, mainly for my mom who is a great cook and baker. She’s so talented in cooking; everything she cooks turns out so mouth-watering and gastronomic. Mom would take orders for events if she has some free time. And she would be very busy nearing Eid. People would request for her famous “Kek Lapis Sarawak” non-stop, since hers are cheapest and yet the best one would find made by a non-Sarawakian.

So would I buy her a bakery? I told her about my buying-her-bakery idea, and she responded, “Kau pergi belajar masak dulu baru berangan nak buat bakery.” That mean. I can’t cook, literally. I never care that I’m the eldest and my other siblings can cook. They’re just 15 and 12. Shameful. I’m 18 and I only know how to fry an egg. And still sometimes I fail to do so.

Staying in hostel where food isn’t provided is hard. So sometimes my housemates would cook to cut off budget. I will join too. To eat. I’m no bluffing, man. They even got a nickname for me; The Kitchen Scream Girl. Cuz when I have to join them in the kitchen, I’ll scream. I can’t stand the hot boiling oil in the pan. Oh my that just freaked me out. And I’m outta there as fast as I could.

And lucky me, I’m still in Malaysia. What would happen when I’m in Australia? Who’ll cook for me? And I guarantee there’d be not as many halal eateries as we got here. Abah told me to learn how to cook before I go to Australia. Well, I’m 18 after all. Sooner or later, I have to go through this life by myself.

And talking about life, I will not live alone. There would be a husband later. And aftera a husband, there would be a kid. Or kids. How I’m gonna feed them if I can’t cook? So, we reach to a conclusion: I need to learn to cook. But I don’t want to! Well, for the time being. I can help my mom in the kitchen, but to cook by myself, nahhh. So that’s my dream: I want to cook by myself.

In order to get that realized, I went back home that is located miles away from where I’m studying (Shah Alam-Batu Pahat takes 4 hours to reach). Sacrifices that I made, even though I’m having a test a day after the trip. Alhamdulillah, I made it! Chicken chop, come to mama!

Will give you the recipe in the next post!

XOXO,
Zaty.
