Into the World of Fashion

Salam to our dearest brothers and sisters ;)

So last holiday, we have completed one of our member’s dream (Amanie) which is to become a HIJABISTA. Yeay!

Therefore, we went to Amanie’s house since her house is the nearest compared to others’ (Yeah, Tuti’s is in east while Zaty’s is in the south).

But before we proceed to talk about our preparations for our so-called-photo shoot, we witnessed an accident where a lorry’s tire POPPED right in front of our eyes! It’s not a big deal though but, luckily nothing bad happened. Alhamdulillah.

Then, as we arrived, we straight away started to prepare all the stuff needed for the photo shoot.
As for Zaty, she was the camerawoman for the day while the others including our friends, Tia are the models.

So, Amanie dug her closet to find the clothes needed, from her grandma’s clothes to her mother’s. All were scattered on her bed and it looked like a mountain of colorful and beautiful masterpiece.

The first model was Tuti, a girl which I personally think has the model quality as she is thin and photogenic. It was very funny at first because she looked very awkward to do any pose but then during the last session she suddenly knows how to work the clothes well which surprised us. She is also the clown of the day as she kept on trying weird combinations of clothes. But it just happened during the last moment, but since she is photogenic, her photos came out really well I think.

Secondly, the diva of our day: TIA! To tell you the truth, at first I was just joking around her by saying that if she wanted to stay at my house then she needs to be a model, but she did not give any answer. As I asked to choose the clothes that they wanted to wear, she happily chose hers. She really nailed both session and all of us kept on complimenting her causing her cheeks turns as red as apple. AHAHA. But she is very obedient as she followed all the instruction that we gave.

Lastly, I am the last one, hee. Well I just try out my grandma’s clothes which I think I like it the most because even though the design is so 70s, you know the puffy shoulder. But I love it. Nothing special happened, just a photo shoot between me and my dearest, loveable, adorable, fur ball cat named KIKI.

We really had so much fun doing it and we are proudly to say that we did not use any make up at all. NOT EVEN COMPACT POWDER. We use the originally, beautifully sculptured by the hand of Allah, our bare face. (Every Allah’s creation is beautiful right?) So, what we aim for this photo shoot is that people wearing hijab can still be fashionable but must follow accordingly to the guideline stated by Allah, so that we can cover not only our aurat but also our pride. So, happy living everyone!

And to the next post, where we’d display all the photos we’ve taken! Ciao!

Teasers. Hehe.

XOXO,
Amanie.
